I wrote a lot of books before I got published – 10 to be exact. Most were never published, but after I sold my first, some were later picked up and published – like Say Yesand Unexpected and Sex Appeal. Those books sat on my shelf for years before selling, and came out long after my first published book, which was Impetuous, in January 1996.
