So why didn't anyone ever tell me that having a big brother would be so ultra cool? Dean rocks! Not only is a super macho kick-ass fighter, but he's gave me a car and he's fun to talk to, and he understand me.
Cam is great. I mean, she's my sister and I love her. But Cam is so... Cam . So straight-laced and proper and responsible.
Dean is more laid back and fun loving. He gets my tattoos and laughs with me over the craziest things. And it's hysterical the way he fights the big-brother role. Really gives me a chuckle. When he found out I got a job in a bar, he tried to act like it didn't matter. But Dean isn't all that subtle. Not when something matters.
And apparently I matter to him.
Is that not the coolest? I love tweaking him over it. He shrugs and tries to pretend it's all good. But what he really thinks is there in his eyes.
And what can I say? I'm a sap. When he reasons with me, and I know it matters to him, I can't help but give in. Cam has had it so rough lately, dealing with the financial problems and Aunt Lorna and that idiot fiancé of hers, that if Dean thinks I can help her out, I want to.
Oh, and speaking of Aunt Lorna. You better believe watching Dean go toe to toe with that one is a real kick. I've never seen anyone shut Lorna down the way Dean does. And he does it with this awesome, quiet control. I can see why he's such a successful ultimate fighter. He's got that way about him.
It was kinda weird when he went all protective and brotherly over me with Gregor. Not that I needed him to, because I can handle Gregor.
Gregor... :::sigh:::: Now there's a hunk for you. He's huge. All muscles and tattoos and attitude. He scares a lot of people, but because he's Dean's friend, I know I can trust him. That's the thing about Dean. You meet him and you know right off that he wouldn't hang out with a jerk.
So Gregor is safe. Just maybe not safe to my heart.
In no time at all, I fell for the big lug.
I guess there are some things a big brother can't do for me, and saving me some heartache is top of the lists.
I won't give up on Gregor yet, but if we're going to play this game, it'll have to be by my rules. I can make it happen, without Dean's help.
Gregor's enormous, but that just means he's going to fall hard - for me . After all, I'm Dean "Havoc" Conor's little sister. We have to have a few things in common, right?
Tackling big muscle-bound hulks just might be top of the list.
