Lori's foreign copy of Say No to Joe and the cover of Robin Schone's book, Gabriels Engel.

Date released - June 2005 |

This rugged and well built model's photo was supplied to me by a reader in a contest search for a Clint look-a-like.
Not exact, but close enough! |
|

 |
Lucky Vanous would make a perfect Bruce/Bryan look alike.
This is exactly how I envisioned the twins. |
|

 |
And what about the guy on the left?
He was shown in a bookclub ad for THE SECRET LIFE OF BRYAN. He doesn't fit my image of Bryan, but what do you think?
Notice how the Brava covers have an "image" - shoes on Bryan, a magnifying glass on Clint... Note, Jamie's book only has the title. Cool, huh? |
|

And check out this cover for author Allison Rushby's book, ALL MEN ARE BASTARDS.COM, releases in Australia by Random House.
A very similar design to
THE SECRET LIFE OF BRYAN!
Kensington's Strapless line has picked up the book for North American distribution! |

It isn't easy to find a man who can live up to the image of Joe Winston, so I'm glad Kensington didn't attempt to put a hero on the cover. In fact, I love the theme they're using for my current series - using two tones of color, and the hero's name in the title. Simple and attractive!
But when I received this guy as part of my "Joe Winston contest," I voted for him! I think he's plenty hot enough to be Joe - especially if you add black hair,
blue eyes and an earring. What do you think?
Does he fit your image of Joe, from
SAY NO TO JOE? |

When I first wrote the Buckhorn Brothers series, I had specific visions of what each brother would look like. Well, I was doomed for disappointment!
Here's my idea of SAWYER at the left and what I got on the right. |
|

 |
The guy I got for the cover of MORGAN reminds me of William H. Macy, The Shoveler, from the movie Mystery Men. Yes?
Morgan isn't a bad cover at all, but I envisioned him looking like super hunk, Adrian Paul :::sigh::: except with blue eyes! |
|

 |
Duplicating my image of Gabe might be impossible, but this cover satsifies me. |
|

 |
What can I say about the flat, childish cover for JORDAN? Not much, other than I'm very glad the books have been reiussed already - with much better covers. |
|

|
The new Buckhorn Brothers - much improved.
ONCE AND AGAIN features SAWYER and MORGAN.
FOREVER AND ALWAYS features GABE and JORDAN.

Mick from CAUGHT IN THE ACT Hubba hubba, huh?
Is this guy incredibly sexy or what? I love the cover Harlequin gave me for my single title CAUGHT IN THE ACT. It's gorgeous, classy and very eye catching, don't you think? However, if we'd put a model on the cover, the young man above is what I think Mick Dawson, the hero in the book, would have looked like.

Check out this magazine article from the AARP about massage - and how closely it resembles my
TOO MUCH TEMPTATION cover!

What do you think?
Same guy? Same shirt?
